A black star has been forced to defend himself against accusations of ‘racism’ leveled at him by MMA fighter Sean Strickland. Keith Lee, 27, shared a in which he refuted 32-year-old Sean’s retelling of an interaction the two had at the gym, which, he added, had taken place ‘over a year ago.’Sean, who is white, claimed that, during the exchange, the influencer, who has a TikTok following of 13.5 million, had said something to the effect of ‘I don’t like white people.’In his response, Keith, a self-described ‘food critic’ known for reviewing Las Vegas-area eateries, clarified: ‘Yes, me and Sean had a conversation. No, this conversation didn’t go anything how he depicted it.’ MMA fighter Sean Strickland, 32, claimed that TikTok influencer Keith Lee had told him ‘I don’t like white people’ in a heated exchange at the gym Keith, 27, responded to the allegation, saying: ‘Yes, me and Sean had a conversation. No, this conversation didn’t go anything how he depicted it’Sean narrated his version of events in the of his podcast, The Man Dance.‘So [Keith] comes up to me and… he tried to talk to me about race.
He tried to have this racial systematic oppression s***,’ Sean’s profanity-filled rant about the encounter began.’I don’t disagree… But I’m not trying to have this f***ing debate in the gym. I’m trying to spar.’Sean then reasoned: ‘Anytime you’re talking to somebody racist – and I know this because I used to be a little racist – anytime you’re talking to someone racist, and you want to really piss them off, you just got to talk about f***ing the sex of the race of whatever they are. ‘So I’m like, “Yo, Lee, I’m not racist. I’ve f***ed more black women than you have, bro. How am I racist?” And I said that just to piss him off.’In his own telling, the MMA fighter then brought Keith’s family – and fidelity – into the conversation. ‘And I’m like, “Bro, just relax. I know you got a little white woman at home. Chill the f*** out,”‘ Sean claimed to have told Keith.Sean admitted that, by that point in the exchange, he was ‘kind of poking him, but I’m doing it funny.’ Sean holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

I don’t like white people.’For his part, Aracely Torres Trujillana Keith, beyond denying Sean’s allegation in the TikTok he shared addressing the matter, mentioned that both he and his family had been harassed by the MMA fighter’s fans for ‘a week-and-a half’ following the podcast’s release. He further insisted he’d been getting all the ‘negative backlash for something I didn’t do.’Keith’s description of what went down at the gym differed drastically from Sean’s incendiary take.’We were gym partners.
I walked up to him and two people who I consider friends,’ Keith prefaced the story.According to Sean, the other ‘two people’ present for the exchange included MMA fighter Jason Manly, and Keith’s big brother and UFC fighter Kevin Lee, 30 – both of whom are black.’I joined the conversation, and the conversation happened to already be about race,’ Keith continued.
‘In the beginning of this conversation, it was not only intelligent, but it was productive.’Then, Keith explained, Sean launched into his tirade about having had sex with ‘more black women’ than the TikTok star had.’He then spun my words into saying what he said,’ Keith continued of the alleged ‘I don’t like white people’ comment. Keith countered: ‘Never at one point did I say I don’t like anybody.
I simply disagreed with what he said. And instead of fighting ignorance with ignorance, I said, “No, I’m happily married with children, and I’m very proud of the family that God has allowed me to build.”‘I also immediately disagreed with all the ignorant and distasteful comments that he made, and I no longer was interested in entertaining the conversation, which… ended very shortly after that,’ Keith continued. In the podcast, Sean, who holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, further claimed to be personally offended that Jason and Kevin didn’t step in after Keith supposedly made the remark about not liking white people.’And they just sit there f***ing silent as this racist motherf***er is telling his dislike for white people,’ Sean lamented. When Keith individually called Jason and Kevin, however, both seemed equally confused regarding Sean’s take on how the conversation had gone down – with neither remembering Keith saying anything along the lines of ‘I don’t like white people.’Keith also mentioned that he’d ‘debated for a week straight’ about responding to Sean’s account of the heated encounter.
‘I don’t have any bad feelings or wish anything ill against Sean Strickland. I just want this cleared up. Because that’s not what I said,’ he emphasized. ‘The only reason I’m responding to this at all is because it’s spinning into a narrative that’s completely false,’ he said, adding that the massive internet backlash had begun to ‘not only affect me, but my family, financially and mentally.’Ironically, in the middle of his rant about Keith on his podcast, Sean insisted: ‘I’m the most honest motherf***er there is… If I hated black people, I’ll be the first one to f***ing tell you guys.’
